The Arsenal ace posted a video on his Instagram story earlier as he was about to board a private jet to Manchester.
Sanchez, 29, was then pictured arriving at United’s Carrington training base.
And according to the Daily Mirror, the Chile international has completed his United medical.
They claim the Arsenal star has left Carrington and the deal will likely be announced tomorrow.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan will also move the other way after agreeing terms with Arsenal in the last 48 hours.
The Mirror add that Sanchez and Mkhitaryan must have their work permits ratified by their new clubs before the deal can be announced.
"I think they will be successful."
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger also discussed the transfer, with the Frenchman putting a timeframe on the highly-anticipated deal.
"I expect it to happen, but I can’t announce it. In the next 48 hours it will be decided," he said after the Gunners hammered Crystal Palace 4-1.
"Until it’s over the line you can’t say it will happen. If you want to have a bit, it could happen.
"Sanchez will only happen if Mkhitaryan comes here. That’s why it takes longer as well because it is coordinated."
